“The Dead Man’s Waltz find the common ground between the bleak tragedy of the island folk ballads and the more flamboyant execution of the European cabaret tradition.”
— The Scotsman

Hailing from the Isle of Skye, Hebridean folk-noir quartet The Dead Man’s Waltz released their self-titled album in 2011. Their music describes a weird arc of destruction and menace through the history of the last century; a litany of small-town crimes and dark romances is set to a musical backdrop that ranges from sweet melancholy to thunderous chants.

Cry on Me written by Hector Macinnes and The Dead Man’s Waltz. Music video directed by Johnny Barrington and storyboarded by Leighton Jones.
